The Halifax Wildlife Association was established in 1853 and is the oldest of its kind, (i.e. an association of hunters and fishermen), in North America. Its objective is to foster wise and sound management of the renewable natural resources of Halifax County and the Province of Nova Scotia so that their economic, recreational and aesthetic values may be perpetuated for future generations of our people.

You can add new life, a resurgence, to a very singular organization by putting yourself on record as one of its members, especially since it reached its 150th Birthday in 2003! We are a a pretty unique group of persons in North America. We claim some distinction reaching such a remarkable milestone, so Join Now!
